Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and coated in a savory garlic parmesan sauce that elevates this dish to the next level.
Ingredients
Scale:
1 pound chicken breast, sliced into strips
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs, beaten
1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko)
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a bowl, combine the flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs. In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
Dip each chicken strip first into the flour mixture, then into the egg mixture, and finally into the breadcrumbs. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake the chicken tenders for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
While the chicken is baking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until well blended.
Once the chicken tenders are baked, drizzle the garlic parmesan sauce over them and toss gently to coat.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm with dipping sauces.
