Transforming all the beloved flavors of a cheeseburger into a vibrant salad.
Ingredients
Scale:
1 lb Ground beef (80/20)
6 cups Romaine lettuce, chopped
1 cup Cherry tomatoes, halved
1/2 cup Pickles, diced
1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
1/4 cup Red onion, diced
1/2 cup Special sauce
1 tablespoon Olive oil
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
Instructions
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula.
Season the beef with salt and black pepper. Cook until fully browned, about 7-10 minutes. Drain excess fat and set aside.
While the beef is cooking, prepare the salad base. In a large bowl, combine the chopped romaine lettuce, halved cherry tomatoes, diced pickles, shredded cheddar cheese, and diced red onion.
Add the cooked ground beef to the salad mixture and toss gently to combine.
Drizzle the special sauce over the salad and toss again to ensure everything is well coated. Adjust seasoning to taste.
Serve immediately, or chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving for a refreshing twist.
