Ingredients
Scale:
1 can (20 oz) cherry pie filling
1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, undrained
1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
1 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Spread the cherry pie filling evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
Next, spread the crushed pineapple on top of the cherry filling, ensuring it is evenly layered.
In a separate bowl, mix the softened cream cheese with the powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the pineapple layer. It doesn’t have to cover it completely; it will spread while baking.
Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the cream cheese layer. Do not mix.
Finally, pour the melted butter evenly over the cake mix, covering as much as possible.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
Let the cake cool for at least 30 minutes before serving.
